There has
been A LOT of hullabaloo about this mascara lately so I was itching to get my
hands on it. I just can’t bring myself to pay a lot (like, anything) for
mascara because they last 3 months tops (even if you don’t use mascara everyday
you should replace your mascara every 3 months for hygienic purposes).
Sephora.com deluxe size samples to the rescue! This is how I get all my
high-end mascaras. With a purchase at Sephora.com (usually over $25) you get a
free deluxe size sample. I chose this mascara.
I LOVE IT!
It actually reminds me a lot of the Maybelline Lash Sensational Full Fan Effect
Volume Mascara that I featured in a Bye Bye Beauty post. Why would I love Roller Lash if it reminds
me of a product in a Bye Bye post, you ask? Roller Lash has all the pros of
Lash Sensational with none of the cons.
For
starters, the wands are pretty much identical. The wand is curved and one side
has shorter bristles to get close to the lash line and the other side has
longer bristles to fan out the lashes. The volume and lengthening I get with
this mascara is amazing. It fans out my lashes and makes it look like I have
false eyelashes on. The first time I wore this a co-worker commented on my
lashes.
The brush
is supposed to be a unique design—a “Hook ‘N’ Roll” brush that catches your
eyelashes to lift and curl them. Not sure that I am noticing anything catches
my lashes (which is fine by me), but the results are definitely there.
The
full-size is $24. I would definitely choose this again as a deluxe sample or
use my Sephora points to buy a sample, but I just can’t bring myself to spend
that much on a mascara no matter how amazing it is. If mascara is your thing, and
you’re okay with spending the money, I would definitely recommend this one.
Have you
tried Benefit Roller Lash mascara? Are you planning on trying it? Let me know!
